Paper, Printmaking, and Photography

Kendra Gebbia

ink Orchard, Redwing

woodcut printmaking

I create original art from my hand carved relief prints. I use oil paint and glazing medium to add rich and translucent colors to my art and lamps.

Emily Koehler

Emily Gray Koehler, Minneapolis

I create color-reduction woodcuts, collagraphs and drypoints printed with oil-based inks on Rives BFK and other printmaking papers. All prints are designed, carved, and hand-pulled by me and I do not allow any reproductions of my work.

My work explores the complexities of human relationships with the natural world with particular emphasis on land, water and energy use concerns.

Kelly Thielen

Minneapolisi

I use the materials of book binding to create three dimensional forms made from book board and decorative papers. I make lidded boxes, open structures and hand-bound spiral notebooks; some forms even have an element of surprise built in!

I create Cartonnage, using book board and decorative papers. I cut and assemble every component, and I have also hand-marbled many of the exterior papers I use. Each piece features a unique combination of form and materials.

Rachel Cain

Digital photography, mostly barns and landscapes

Rachel Cain is a local photographer who has been taking pictures for over 20 years. She photographs many subjects, but is particularly drawn to rural landscapes and barns. Rachel sees what is there and imagines possibilities.

Mary Foster

Mary Foster Creative, Minneapolis

Photography from my garden, created with an eye for detail. Images are digitally processed, then printed on paper and fabric in my home studio to make prints, cards, and handbags.

Using my green thumb and eye for detail, I create images that find the unique beauty in each flower that I photograph in my Minneapolis garden.
